Відповідь: Ust-Kamenogorsk is the largest city in the east of Kazakhstan, the administrative center of the East Kazakhstan region since 1939.

In the 9th-13th centuries, the Naiman and Kerei tribes lived on the territory of the Irtysh region. In the 15th century, during the formation of the Kazakh Khanate, these tribes entered the Middle Zhuz [5]. In the autumn of 1720, the Ust-Kamenogorsk fortress was founded at the confluence of the Irtysh and Ulba rivers. In 1868 it received the status of a city[6][7]. Until 1932, the city was part of the Tomsk province, the Omsk region, the Semipalatinsk province of the Kirghiz ASSR and the Semipalatinsk district of the Kazakh ASSR.
