As you can see in the picture, one wire is connected in series with the other three, but the three wires are connected in parallel with each other. In a parallel connection, I and R are inversely related to each other, if R is equal in three wires, then I is equal in all three wires, and the total I in a parallel connection is equal to the first I + second I + third I. Since the conjunction is I 12, the sum of the others must be 12, because in a sequential conjunction I is equal.

I1=12 sequential one

because of that resistors have the same value,

the current is equal too, and since the current in the series-connected wire is 12, the sum of the parallel connections must be 12 too
