Гелиоцентрическая система мира — идея о том, что Солнце является центром мироздания и точкой, вокруг которой вращаются все планеты, в том числе и Земля. Данная система предполагает, что наша планета выполняет два вида движения: поступательное вокруг Солнца и вращательное вокруг своей оси.
