Thanks for your letter.  It was really nice to read about your country. You really live in a beautiful place. I want to tell you about the UK as you asked me.

The UK is situated on the British isles. Great Britain is the largest of them.  It consists of three countries: England, Scotland and Wales. These three countries and the Northern Ireland form the UK. Northern Ireland occupies the northern part of the island called Ireland. My country is washed by the seas and the ocen. The weather here is damp and mild. The rivers and lakes never freeze in winter.  Can you tell me about the weather at your place?
