In your letter you asked me about our Nauryz traditions. Nauryz marks the beginning of a new year. We celebrate it on the 21st of March. On this day, there are many festivals and fireworks in our cities and towns. Children play traditional games and sing songs. Also, we cook a lot of delicious food. The main dish is Nauryz kozhe. It consists of seven ingredients, which symbolise seven virtues: joy, success, intelligence, health, wealth, agility, and security.
