The Crimean peninsula attracts more and more tourists every year. Many come here for quite affordable rest and treatment, for beautiful nature - gorges, waterfalls and bizarre forms created by centuries of weathering processes. Most of the vacationers who come here are middle-class people who choose the most economical options for themselves. For example, families with children prefer a cozy and relaxing holiday on the Evpatoria sandy beaches. The younger generation chooses Koktebel, Alushta and the villages of the western coast. A light informal atmosphere reigns here, there is an opportunity to “hang out” and go to numerous discos. Older people tend to go to the sanatorium - to heal and have a good rest.

The climate prevailing on the southern coast of Crimea is defined as "sub-Mediterranean". That is, according to the main characteristics: sunshine, air temperature and precipitation, it is very similar to the climate off the Mediterranean coast. In the northern part of the Crimea (plain) - the climate is continental, as in the temperate zone. The southern coast of Crimea is reliably protected by a mountain range from cold northern winds. The beach season here begins around mid-June and ends almost in early October.

Crimean beaches have a total length of 517 kilometers. In Feodosia, Sudak, Kerch and Evpatoria they are sandy, but in other places they are mostly pebble or sand and pebble.

The main healing factors of the Crimean coast are the unique climate, sun, air and mud baths, as well as indispensable sea bathing. Evpatoria is considered a balneological resort. Adults and children come here to treat diseases of the musculoskeletal system. In its health resorts for treatment are widely used: therapeutic mud, brine of estuaries and water from mineral thermal springs. People go to the southern coast of Crimea to treat mainly cardiovascular diseases, as well as often diseases of the respiratory system and the nervous system.

The most popular excursion program of the Crimean coast includes visiting the palaces of Alupka, Livadia, Bakhchisaray and Massandra, visiting the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, Swallow's Nest, Chersonese and monuments of glory in Sevastopol. No less popular are trips with a visit to the Marble Cave, cave cities, Genoese fortresses in Feodosia and Sudak, amazing bays of the New World, the extinct volcano Kara-Dag, the top of Ai-Petri, the Grand Canyon, Balaklava, the Dzhur-Dzhur waterfall and ancient Belogorsk.
