some- (body, thing, where) - используется для утвердительных предложений

any- (body, thing, where) - используется для отрицательных и вопросительных предложений

Есть также no- (body, thing, where), который используется в утвердительных положениях с негативным смыслом:

  • Nobody came. - Никто не пришел.
  • В таких предложениях не нужно добавлять отрицание, поскольку слова nobody, nothing & nowhere уже содержат в себе "не". Двойного отрицания в английском языке нет.
