1 Alex almost drowned. He had a large meal before he went swimming

2 I was very thirsty. I didn`t take anytning to drink.

3 Alice is not going to the match. There are no tickets left.

4 The classroom looks very dark becausewe painted it blue.

5 Suzanne fell asleep in class today. She went to bed  very late.

6 A boy found a wallet on the street. He kept it.

7 He left home late, and he missed the train.

1. He shouldn't have eaten so mush!

2. I should have taken a bottle of water/something to drink.

3. She should have booked the tickets in advance. (ought  have booked)

4. We shouldn't have painted the classroom blue. We should have painted it pale yellow.

5. She should have gone to bed earlier.

6. He should have gone to a police station.

7. He shouldn't have looked for another pair of shoes. he should have left earlier.
