Volunteering is helping people without expecting to get anything in return. It is very important, because people don’t always have the means to pay for somebody’s work, especially after a natiral disaster.
The main reason why people volunteer is because they genuinely want to help other people, they feel that they can make this world a better place. However, some people start volunteering, because they want to gain experience. Many employees are looking for people who have had previous volunteer experience.

Personally, I would like to help people who need it the most. If I could make someone else’s life better, it would the best reward I could get as a volunteer!
