Жяття безцінне та на привеликий жаль у ті часи цього ніхто не розумів. Для панів життя кріпаків нічого не означало. Ціна свободи— рішучість, і готовність до втрати. За свою волю Остап заплатив життям Соломії. За цим твором ми спостерігаємо як з першу життя кріпаків нічого не означає та самі кріпаки у це не вірили. Тому і боролись за свою свободу. Бо вони вірили що десь є краще жяття. Вони ішли за мріями всупереч всьому що їм казали. Для людей власне життя і життя близьких людей має найбільшу цінність. Життя— божий дар, який ми бережемо.
Тому життя безцінне. Йому немає ціни.
