1) Jane Eyre was the heroine of a novel by English writer Charlotte Brontë, published under the penname "Currer Bell".

2) Jane's childhood was difficult, because her parents were dead, because of she lived with her uncle's family. Only her uncle loved her, and his wife and her children hated Jane.

3) When she left Lowood, she started to work at Thornfield Hall.

4) Jane found out Mr Rochester when she meets him at Thornfield Hall; Mr Rochester was the master of the house.

5) She didn't marry Mr Rochester, because she knew, that he cannot legally marry her because he already has a wife.
