Nowadays, you can find many different families. Every type has pros and cons, but I believe that it is better to be a part of an extended family. I feel this way for several reasons, which I will examine in this essay.
First, if a family is unified, they benefit from it by constant companionship. My personal experience best exemplifies it. I used to have a friend who lived near me, and we went to school together. Meanwhile, my family consisted of my parents and me, he lived with his sister, brother, parents, and grandparents. And I also envied them because they supported and helped each other. When his mother was busy, his grandma was always ready to help him with, for example, homework.
Second, if parents do not earn enough money, extended family is a solution because you can save a lot. In particular, they may pool budget. Hence, there will be more money because all members live in one place. It happened when I was eight. My parents earned not a lot, but we saved more money when my grandparents started living with us. This change allowed us to visit Spain and afford such a trip.
