I think that the best method of communication is the internet. There are many useful information in here. You can quickly to share messages with your friends. You also can find all that you interested in. 
But I don't like mail. It the first is very slow for me. It the second is unreliable, because letter can be open and check.
All this facts argue that is internet is better than mail. In my opinion it's so.
