Some people are sure that one does need a hobby. Others, however, are rather skeptical about this point of view. In this essay, I will try to look upon this issue. In my opinion, one definitely should have a hobby nowadays. First, it helps to cope with stress and shift from one activity to another. It is good for health and also enhances productivity. Second, modern people have much more free time than people in the past. Only rich people in the past could afford to have a hobby. The rest was occupied in survival. Modern people do not need to work hard from down to dust to have something to eat. They work to provide themselves a better life and they need to do something in their free time.
