В наших местах камышом называют вовсе не то, что в некоторых ученых книжках. По-нашему камыш – это трубчатое растение, перехваченное особыми узелками, какие бывают у хлебной соломы или бамбука. Этим-то камышом у нас кроют крыши, топят лежанки и печи, а ребятишки мастерят из него певучие дудочки и свистульки. А еще стрелы для самодельных луков, утяжеляя конец камышинки лодочной смолой. Мальчишки постарше в смоляной наконечник заделывали гвоздь. С такой стрелой шли на какой-нибудь выгон, очерчивали круг и начинали соревноваться в меткости.
Со временем я вырос, научился читать книжки, и вот тут-то и обнаружилась путаница. Бывало, загляну в ботанический справочник: тростник! Приеду в деревню: камыш, говорят.
Вот, оказывается, в чем дело: одно и то же растение имеет два разноязычных названия. Тростник – это славянское название, а камыш – тюркское.

1. Найдите в тексте причастный и деепричастные обороты. Подчеркните их как члены предложения, обозначьте слова, к которым эти обороты относятся.

2. Определите, какой частью речи является зависимое слово в словосочетании в ученых книжках? Составьте предложение, употребив это слово в роли существительного.

3. Выберите из текста по одному причастию и деепричастию для морфологического разбора. Произведите разбор.
