   The West End it is not far from the City and is a part of Westminster. It is the heart of London’s West End. It’s the geographical centre of London. Life never stops in the streets and squares here.  

   The West End is a symbol of wealth and luxury. There are the best hotels, the most expensive restaurants, clubs, theatres, cinemas, shops, and supermarkets are located here. There you can find many parks and gardens. The parks are probably the main attraction of the West End. Hyde Park is the largest and the most popular of the parks. It is also full of museums and art galleries. One of the busiest streets of the capital is Oxford Street. Marble Arch is also here. It was built to commemorate Lord Wellington's victory over Napoleon in the battle of Waterloo. Piccadilly Circus is the heart of the West End and is the centre of entertainment. It is a famous square which is a meeting point of six streets. Buckingham Palace is located there too. In the middle of the square, there’s Admiral Nelson’s column. It’s named in memory of the victory of the Trafalgar battle. Another new attraction in the area is the London Eye - a wheel, which at 137 metres. The next one is London’s Tower. It’s a famous fortress which was a king’s palace, a prison, a zoo, and nowadays, it’s a museum. There is the Opera House, the Tate Picture Gallery,  the British Museum, Madame Tussauds's Museum and others.

   I think the West End is a luxury part of London.
