All subjects at school are equally usefull.
Everybody knows that people have various preferences so it is natural that school students want to study the subjects they are interested in. But many teachers are against this, arguing that students must learn all subjects equally.
It seems to me that we need special schools for students, where they can have extra classes in some subjects that are important to their future profession. Besides, students could be allowed to choose the subject they want to study.
Sometimes, we don’t have enough time to learn complex, difficult subjects like mathematics, physics and chemistry I usual schools.
Moreover, if we learn some subjects more than others, we know it better, and it’s useful to enter to university
However, some students don’t know what they want to be, and it’s not bed for them to study all subject equally.
Probably, they could find something interesting in subjects that have never interested them before. And in modern world it’s very important to be comprehensive developed person.
Nevertheless, usually, students don’t understand all subjects equally well, and sometimes they consider themselves stupid.
Also, when all subject have similar umbers of hours , students don’t have enough time to understand them as well as it’s necessary.
All in all, I strongly believe that being free to choose what to study is an effective form of education. Nevertheless, I must admit that we should not completely reject all the other subjects. Instead, teachers must find an easier and more exciting form of teaching them.

Прочитайте тексты и установите соответствие между текстами A-G
и заголовками 1-8. Запишите свои ответы в таблицу. Используйте каждую цифру
только один раз. В задании есть один лишний заголовок.

1. Don't change what you are 5. A circle of fame
2. Gifted but tragic 6. The two sides of fame
3. Famous but normal 7. The truth behind the glamour
4. Buying friends 8. Getting away from it all

A. Today, we live in what is called a celebrity culture'. Many people are famous for no reason, it seems.
But fame can be good or bad, and when it comes, you must be ready to handle it. You can enjoy great
wealth and a luxury lifestyle, or you can fall further than you could imagine.
B. There are established, mature stars, such as Brad Pitt, for example, who has obviously handled his
worldwide fame well. He managed to guide his life and career safely to the point where, today, he is
happily married with a family, and he keeps out of the headlines unless he is making a movie or doing
some charity work - all signs of a balanced, well-adjusted person.
C. There are stars such as Michael Jackson, who was born with a huge talent into a performing family,
and thrust into the limelight as a young child. This seems to have affected his development. He was
ridiculed in the media for his strange private life, and on his sad death it was discovered he'd been
addicted to various drugs. Perhaps if he hadn't been so famous, his life might have been happier and
easier.
D. Why are some people famous when they have no special talent or haven't done anything great? There
are media figures who are famous for being themselves, and who have their own reality TV shows
which are about their everyday lives - but their everyday lives are about being famous, mainly through
their reality TV show. One seems to follow the other, which follows the first...
E. If you suddenly become famous, you'll need to deal with the pressure and stress. A public relations
manager can help with the paparazzi attention and get the right stories in the right places. You also
need to maintain your routine. Don't change your whole life - eat the same things, keep the same
friends and sleep at the same time as you used to.
F. If sudden fame gets too much, if your life has become just a public circus and you can't take it any
more, there are still a couple of things you can do. lust disappearing is the obvious one - leave town, go
to a secluded hotel, turn off your phone and don't check the internet. The public's attention will soon
move on to the next latest thing.
G. Perhaps fame is not really what you think it is. It's easy to forget the stress, pressure, and constant media
attention that come with fame. Next time you see someone on the red carpet in front of the cameras,
dressed up in their finest clothes, smiling as hard as they can, ask yourself this: "Is it really worth it?"
