Many people get information from a lot of different sources. It could be the internet or book or something else. But nowadays Internet is the main resource of knowledge, entertainment and even communication with friends.
In my opinion receiving the media from online services is very comfortable, because you don't need to go and look for your favourite book just because you can read it using electronic media, so you don't need to go out and risk your health. And if we compare Internet resources (like YouTube) with TV, then Youtube or other sites would be more useful, because you can choose what particular program or video do you want to watch. Although you can watch TV on the Internet too. But on the other side there is too much information on the Internet, so you always have to choose what you want to browse.
But in my point of view the internet give us new abilities which can help you with some hard things(maybe work), and you can find there some guids or tutorials. So all is in your hands.
