There are a lot of holidays in Russia: January 7, January 19, February 23, March 8, April 12, May 1 - and this is just a small part. My favorite is the Easter. Easter this year is celebrated on May 2, although it falls on any number and always in different ways. People prepare the Easter table: they paint eggs, bake an Easter cake, which is decorated with icing and baked from pastry dough. In the old days, before the Easter meal, the ancestors were first honored — they put a pot of honey in front of the icons, offered a prayer, took eggs in their hands and with the words " Christ is risen! Indeed, he is risen! " they hit each other with them. My family will celebrate this holiday just like everyone else. I love this holiday because it is one of the days when people should not swear or take offense at someone(and also because I like to eat Easter itself).
