Якщо кут при основі рівний, то означає, що два кути при основі рівні( за властивістю рівнобедренного трикутника кути при основі рівні)

Отже за 1-ою ознакою подібності (якщо два кути одного трикутника відповідно дорівнюють двом кутам другого трикутника, то такі трикутники є подібними) два даних трикутника подібні. А якщо трикутникі подібні, то і подібність сторін всередині трикутників зберігається, тобто

a:b=5:2 → 2a=5b; , де а- бічна сторона, и- основа трикутника

P=2a+b

2а+b=36;

5b+b=36;

b=36:6;

b=6(cм).
