What rights should children have?

Just like adults, children have rights. These rights are listed in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. For example, this document says that every child has the right to be alive and develop in the best possible way. Children have the right to their own identity (their name, nationality and family relations). They also have the right to give their opinions and share their thoughts freely.

Children should have rights because these rights guarantee them life, development and security.
