2.He WANTED to repair our dishwasher that HAD BROKEN before.

3.Before he RANG the doorbell, he HAD BEEN LOOKING for a parking space for about ten minutes.

4.While Mr Cooper WAS REPAIRING the dishwasher, I WAS WATCHING the local news on TV.

5.Suddenly, I REALISED that they were showing a car accident in our street.

6.When I WAS LISTENING carefully to what HAD HAPPENED, someone KNOCKED at the door.

7.My mum OPENED the door and SAW a police officer outside.

8.He ASKED for Mr Cooper.

9.As it TURNED out, it WAS his car that HAD ROLLED down the street.

10.In his haste, Mr Cooper FORGOT to put the handbrake on.
