Mickey Mouse is the most famous cartoon character of all times. Walter Elias Disney is the creator of this character. Walt Disney was born on December 5th 1901 in Chicago. He liked drawing from an early age and he sold his first sketches to his neighbours when he was only seven years old. The Walt Disney Company started in 1923 in the rear of a small office occupied by Holly-Vermont Realty in Los Angeles. Mickey was first seen in a test screening of the cartoon short Plane Crazy, on May 15, 1928. During that period they made Silly Symphonies and Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs. Walt Disney died of lung cancer on December 15th, 1966 at his home in California.
