Kazakhstan is rich in rivers, lakes and seas. the largest seas and lakes of Kazakhstan are the Aral Sea, Balkhash, Zaysan, Alakol, the Caspian Sea, tengiz. Balkhash is the most unusual lake, which differs from others in its uniqueness. in one half of the lake the water is fresh, in the other it is salty. The capital of Kazakhstan is a large city of Astana. in Astana there is the Baiterek building, the symbol of Kazakhstan. the largest cities are Almaty, Kyzylorda, Nur-Sultan, Uralsk, Shymkent, Aktau, Karaganda, Petropavlovsk, Aktobe.
