Bicycle is a long-standing invention. Officially, it was invented in 1817 by the German professor Baron Karl von Dresen as " machine for run." His invention had no pedals, riders had to start from the ground underfoot. Blacksmith Kirkpatrick Macmillan put pedals and saddle on the bike, but his invention remains obscure. Then bike evolved slightly, he got a better frame, tires and various " body kits ": brakes, lights, shock absorbers, speedometers, etc.

Today citizens commute to work by car, even if the distance is not very significant. But if people would prefer a bike to car, the air in the cities will be much cleaner, and the people themselves will become much healthier as cycling trains heart.
