As you know, Pocahontas was the daughter of Indian leader. Her real name was Matoaka. She communicated with colonists and even learned English.

Having got married to Joahn Rolf she guaranteed the peaceful coexistence of Indians and colonists.

It was rather smart women and very popular in the society because of her extraordinary roots and of having a good head for diplomatic things.
