Before putting the letter into the letter-box, she (to read) the address which she (to write) on it to see that it was correct, and then (to notice) that she (to forget) to put a stamp on. So she (to buy) one and (to send) a letter off.

My cousin said she would be busy all day. As she writes the first page, she suddenly finds herself forgetting to mention a very important thing. So she tore up the letter and started writing again.
