New year is a wonderful family holiday. Every family in any city celebrates it in its own way. It doesn't matter if it's England, Russia or Canada. I always spend new year with my family in a circle of friends and relatives. Two or three days before the celebration, we put up a Christmas tree and decorate the house. Then we prepare a lot of delicious food and invite our relatives, after that we all sit down at the table together. After the meal, the whole family goes to the Christmas tree and opens many different gifts. I want every new year to be spent with my family and friends.
