Прямоугольный треугольник, гипотенуза которого равна 25, а один из катетов равен 15, вращается вокруг большего катета. Найдите площадь полной поверхности тела вращения.

Изучаемый прямоугольный треугольник имеет катеты AB = 20 и BC = 15 и гипотенузу AC = 25 (чертеж в приложении).

  • При этом, третья сторона была вычислена по теореме Пифагора: AB = \sqrt{AC^2 - BC^2} = \sqrt{25^2 -15^2} = \sqrt{400} = 20.

Из этого следует, что вращали треугольник вокруг катета, равного 20 (это есть больший катет, 20 > 15).

При вращении прямоугольного треугольника вокруг одного из катетов, как известно, получается конус. В данном случае его высота равна h = AB = 20, радиус основания r = BC = 15 и образующая l = AC = 25.

Для вычисления полной поверхности конуса используем соответствующую формулу:

S = \pi \cdot r \cdot (r + l)

Подставляем известные значения:

S = \pi \cdot 15 \cdot (15 + 25) = 600 \cdot \pi \approx 1884.95559

Ответ: 600 \cdot \pi или около 1885 (ед³).
