1) Do you like reading books?
Yes, I like reading books. I can say it's my hobby.
2) Who are your favourite authors?
My favourite authors are J.K. Rowling, Evgenia Pasternak and Andrey Zhvalevsky, Stephen King, and Paulo Coelho.
3) How big is your home library?
Our home library isn't very big. It includes books that belong to my parents and me. There are about three hundred books there.
4) Do you borrow books from your friends or from the local library?
I usually borrow books from the local library or our school library.
5) How does reading books help you in your life?
Reading books helps me a lot in my life. First of all, it fills my head with new bits of information, improves my memory, and it gives me a lot of food for thought. Secondly, when I'm tired, reading books allows me to relax.
6) Do you or your family read newspapers and/or magazines? Which ones?
My parents and I don't read newspapers as we learn the news from the internet, but we do read magazines, such as "Cosmopolitan" and "Vokrug Sveta" ("Around the World").
7) What information can people get from newspapers and magazines?
We can get such information as profiles of important people, cooking and gardening tips, consumer advice, health information. Newspapers provide us with articles on politics, business, sports, art, with weather forecasts and Tv programmes, etc.
8) Do people read more or less than before? Why?
I think people still read a lot. Maybe there are fewer book-lovers now, but we read a lot because we have to keep up with lots of information on the internet and social media.
