Should используется для того чтобы дать совет или рекомендацию (to make recommendations or to
give advice). При этом you should означает, что я думаю, это хорошая идея (I think it is a good thing
for you to do), а you shouldn’t означает, что я думаю, это плохая идея (I think it’s a bad idea for you to
do it).
Пример:
When you go to Oxford, you should visit the Christ College where Harry Potter films were shot.
(recommendation)
I think you shouldn’t go out with Jesse. (advice)
