f(x) = 3 {x}^{2}  + 18x - 1 \\ f(x0) = 3 \times {( \frac{1}{2} )}^{2}  + 18 \times  \frac{1}{2}  - 1 =  \frac{3}{4}  + 8 = 0.75 + 8 = 8.75

Elizabeth I
