 I am often asked the question: ' What's your favourite dish?'. I answer:'plov'. Plov is a dish with great history. It is thought to had been invented in the time of Alexander the Macedonian, who liked spicy food and the Persian cooks made this dish for him adding Persian spices and fruits. The dish soon became very popular. The second version of plov's origin is connected with Mongol Empire. and Genghis Khan, who chose to feed his soldiers with rice and meet which was a brilliant idea, Plov is tasty and nourishing and some people say that when you eat plov you feel the real happiness.
