С начала Крымской войны П.С. Нахимов был командующим флота, разбившего турецкие корабли в Синопе. Во время штурма Севастополя Нахимов являлся одним из главнокомандующих гарнизона. В 1855 году он погибает при обстреле города.

Э.С.Тотлебен был военным инженером во время Крымской войны. Во время штурма Севастополя его эвакуируют в Симферополь

П. Кошка принял участие в Синопском сражении. Он проявил мужественность, овагу и героизм во время штурма Севастополя. Однажды, с ножом в руке, он смог взять в плен троих французов. В другой раз он под обстрелом вытащил с бруствера неприятельской траншеи тело своего сослуживца сапера Степана Трофимова.

Даша Севастопольская была одна из первых военных сестёр милосердия, героиня обороны Севастополя в Крымскую войну 1853-1856 гг.

Н. И. Пирогов впервые использовал военно-полевую хирургию, также впервые провёл операцию с наркозом.

Many stars are working with the tourist board to push Britain as a holiday destination. One of them is Rupert Grint, the red-haired boy from the Harry Potter films. As he says in an advert, Why go surfing on Bondi beach (in Australia), when you can do the same thing at Bridlington Beach (in the north of England). 3 The country's hotel and restaurant industry, and the government, are all crossing their fingers that people will respond to the message, as they all desperately need the money. However, there is no guarantee that British people will in the end decide to take a staycation. After all, a week in Spain is much cheaper than one in Britain, even after you've paid for the flight; and the weather will almost certainly be better, too.
