Europe is a part of the world, forming together with Asia the continent of Eurasia. An area of about 10 million km sq. The population is 732 million people. It is washed by the Atlantic and Arctic oceans and their seas. In Europe there are (fully or partially) 50 states. Europe is usually divided into North and South, West and East, as well as Central. This division is rather arbitrary, especially since not only purely geographical, but also political factors come into play here. Some countries, depending on the "angle of view", may be assigned to different groups of states.
