Fleet Street is one of iconic and distinctive London sites. It is one of the city’s old streets established along the road in the Middle Ages.  

Later the street become popular with publishing houses, therefore it is known as a press-street in our days. Many British national press icons have had headquarters and offices there. Fleet Street is mentioned in several of Charles Dickens' works.

Nowadays Fleet Street is popular with the tourists due to its historical heritage and architecture. And also Fleet Street become one of the shopping corners for the wealthy tourists, especially from Asia.
