First, don't forget to check your passport one month before you travel. Only 2 last week, a friend of mine missed her plane to Rome because her 3 passport was out of date. It took two days to get a new one 4 so she had to buy another flight to meet up with her friends in Rome. They 5 were having a great time while she was standing in a passport office queue!
Secondly, it's a 6 good idea to get to the airport early. Passengers usually have to check in at least two 7 hours before their flight. The last time I travelled, I got to the airport three hours early. There 8 was no queue and I got the best seat on the plane.
Thirdly, the aeroplane meals might not 9 be very tasty so take your favourite sandwiches in case you get 10 hungry.
Finally, avoid sitting by the window. Then you 11 won't need to climb over the other passengers during the night to go to the bathroom.
