Speaker 1(S1) asked if speaker 2(S2) would turn the movie down, because he thinks that it was awful to do maths when something is blowing up and crashing in the next room.

S2 told S1 to forget his maths, because that was a great action-adventure film, which as he thinks S1 would like.
