1. I woke up at seven yesterday. I did gymnastics and had breakfast. Then I took the newspaper and began to read it. I read some articles and left home at eight.

2. When Peter came home from work, he saw a letter on the table. He sat down at the table and looked at the adress. The letter was from his brother. He showed the letter to me and asked me to read it aloud. We liked the letter and we talked about Peter's brother for a long time. Then we listened to the radio and played chess. Peter helped me and I tried to play well. After that we  studied to play together.

3. The old man felt tired, and he decided to have a rest. He lay down on the sofa, and soon he was fast asleep.
