Александр Невский родился 13 мая 1221 года. Был сыном Ярослава и Феодосии. Под командованием князя Александра Ярославовича на реке Неве между новгородским войском и шведским войском 15 июля 1240 года русский народ одержал победу. В дальнейшем Александр Ярославич получил прозвище «Невский» по названию реки и битвы. Александр Невский был справедливым правителем, великим полководцем, верным христианству, человек высокой духовности, у которого нравственные интересы преобладают над материальными. Его имя было причислено к лику святых.
