Hi Helen!

How are you? I'm fine! I 1) (went) to Sauran with my family last weekend. It's a beautiful ruined city. The Arabs 2) (built) it hundreds of years ago! We 3) (spent) the whole morning there. We walked around the city and we 4) (spoke) to some archaeologists. They 5) (know) lots of things about Sauran. They 6) (told) us that, in the 4th century, it was the capital of the White Horde! At lunchtime, we 7) (ate) a picnic outside in the sunshine. It was very quiet and peaceful. There weren't many people in Sauran, but we 8) (saw) eagles, horses, lizards and cute tortoises exploring the ancient city! We 9) (had) a really great time! 10) Did you have a nice birthday?
