There are a lot of holidays in our country. For example New Year, Christmas, International Women's Day etc. But the most important holiday for me it's a Victory day, which is celebrated on ninth of May.
This is a great day in the history of our country. This day is considered the day of victory over the Fascism.
Every year all people take to the streets with flovers in their hands and place them on common graves and monuments. Thus, people express their respect and gratitude to the dead soldiers during the war.
At schools there are meetings of veterans several days before the ninth of May. As a rule, veterans tell to schoolchildren about the war, how it was and what difficulties they had during the war. I mean that is a very valuable experience for pupils because nobody except them can tell us this awful stories about the war how it was in fact.
In the end I want to say that we must remember about this day and respect all people who took part in this scary war because millions of people fought for peace and freedom for us and won a victory over Hitler.
