Because every country has its own mentality. Also, each country has its own customs and traditions that affect the standard of living. Also, it all depends on the power. If the power is good, then the standard of living will be high. And in underdeveloped countries, in which stupid people, bad power and a small standard of living. Hence the conclusion: everything depends solely on the government and the attitude of the people to their country.
