Виктор Франкенштейн - герой романа Мери Шелли "Франкенштейн или Современный Прометей", создатель монстра, погубившего его семью. Поняв что натворил он пытается найти и уничтожить монстра. Но тщетно. Он отправляется вглубь до Северного Полюса. Там его голодного и умирающего, находит корабль.
