There is a rich man who has three daughters. The two elder daughters interest in parties and clothes, but the youngest, Marya, takes on duties of housekeeping for her father.
Now, the man is going to go to the market. He is asking the girls what presents they want. The elder sisters are asking for expensive dresses, but Marya want the Feather of Finist the Falkon.
The man trades at the market and then he goes to buy presents for his daughters as he promises them to the girls.
