Honesty is the best policy means being honest, loyal and true your entire life even in bad or inconvinient situations. You must always tell the truth, so you will sleep peaceful and you will not feel guilty. If you are always honest with people you don't have to remember the lie you told them. People around you will always trust you.  You must be always honest especially with your friends and your family. 
 For example, when you are in trouble with your classmates or you have some problems,  you should tell your parents about what is going on, so they can help you with some advice or support.
