Лондон - столица Англии. Это ее политический и деловой центр. Сердце Лондона – СИТИ (внутренний город). Это самая старая часть Лондона. Многие люди работают в Сити, но живут немногие. Там находятся много банков и других офисов. Вы можете посетить некоторые интересные места в Сити или рядом с ним. Одним из них является Лондонский Тауэр. Лондонский Тауэр был крепостью, дворцом, тюрьмой и Королевским зоопарком.
Теперь это музей. Вы можете увидеть много интересного в залах Белой башни. Его квадратные стены белые и очень высокие.
Вильгельм Завоеватель построил его в 11 веке. В Лондонском Тауэре всегда можно увидеть черных ворон. Люди держат их в Лондонском Тауэре и хорошо заботятся о них, ведь они верят, что Лондон будет богатым, пока там живут вороны.
Одна из величайших английских церквей - Собор Святого Павла, находится недалеко от Лондонского Тауэра. Знаменитый английский архитектор сэр Кристофер Рен построил его в 17 веке после Великого пожара. Сэру Кристоферу Рену потребовалось 35 лет на его строительство. Это красивое здание с множеством колонн и башен. В одной из его башен находится один из самых больших колоколов в мире.
Трафальгарская Площадь находится в центре Лондона. Некоторые люди говорят, что это самое красивое место в Лондоне. В середине площади стоит высокая колонна. Это памятник адмиралу Нельсону. Четыре бронзовых льва на памятнике смотрят на площадь. На площади есть два красивых фонтана. Они находятся перед Национальной галереей, которая является одной из лучших картинных галерей в мире. Каждый день много туристов посещают это прекрасное здание с высокими колоннами.
