David Livingstone  was born in 1813 in Scotland.He became a great hero for his discoveries in Africa.He lived and worked there for more than 30 years.He was the first European who had ever crossed the African continent.He discovered the Zambezi river and the Congo river and managed to cross the Kalahari desert.He mapped many geographical points in Africa and published books about them.He died at the age of 60 from malaria,a dangerous tropical disease.
