My hero is my granny. During the World War II she saved children’s lives. Once, the fascists bombed the small town where my young grandmother lived. Many people died. When it was over, she found 8 children who could survive. My kind granny took the children with her. She raised all of them herself. One of them is my father. I love her very much. She is the person who makes the world be better. But now I’m very sad because she is ill. I hope she’ll get well soon.

My hero is my cat, Kitty. Two years ago something strange happened to my pet. Kitty disappeared in the morning and returned late at night. This lasted for one week. One morning, my mother saw she was carrying some food in her mouth. I wondered what was happening to my cat so I decided to understand Kitty’s actions. On Sunday I woke up early and followed my pet where she was going to. At the end of our street the cat stopped walking at the big tree. When I came up I saw a puppy. It didn’t move and its eyes were sad. The puppy didn’t want to eat the food that Kitty had brought. I understood it was sick. We took the puppy to the vet. The doctor promised that everything would be fine. It took 10 long days for the puppy to recover. Now it is our member of the family and Kitty’s best friend. So, thanks to her, the puppy is alive. My great hero!
