потому что она издевается над слугами и над Софьей. Тришку называет скотом, болваном, холопом. Няня у нее старая ведьма, а ведь она защищала Митрофана всем телом от разъяренного дядюшки. Простакова хочет выдать замуж за брата Софью, а когда узнает о десяти тысячах, решает женить на сыне.
